Cat 5e Pass-Thru connectors are connectors made of a single piece and follow the same assembly process. Open-end Pass-Thru connectors have multiple advantages compared to standard closed end connectors. Before crimping, the order of conductors can be checked. The conductors that pass through the connector are inserted deep enough to be pierced by the pin underneath. The cable can be either pushed or pulled into the connector to ensure that the twisted pairs are in close proximity to the pin contacts and that the jacket is securely seated beyond the primary strain relief, resulting in a reliable connection.
